We are looking for a Corporate Counsel to assist our products business by reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts, providing advice on legal and business decisions, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies. This is a great opportunity to work closely with the sales, commercial contracts, and regulatory teams to support the growth of our new product lines. This person will work on novel issues have the ability to think creatively to solve unique business problems and sodoku puzzles.
 
Responsibilities:

• Review, negotiate, and draft purchase agreements and other commercial contracts and transactions with an emphasis on procurement, sales, e-commerce, distribution, and marketing of goods and services;
• Review marketing and advertising materials as needed;
• Research and counsel on advertising, sales, and commercial matters.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience (in-house or at a law firm), including substantive experience in drafting and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements with an emphasis on matters related to procurement and e-commerce.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively and autonomously with vendors, clients, and business leaders at all levels of the organization.
• Proven track record of accountability, attention to detail, and organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
• Strong sense of humor, collaboration, and flexibility required.
• Illinois bar in good standing.
• Ability to think autonomously and outside the box is critical to the success of the ideal applicant.
